A Special Thank You!

We’re excited to share some great news!

The Association for New Canadians has received a $16,000 grant from @TELUS Atlantic Canada Community Board.

This generous funding will support our Newcomer Digital Skills Lab, a program designed to help newcomer youth (ages 16-29) build essential technology and digital skills to succeed in their new home.

For many young newcomers, digital literacy is a key stepping stone to independence, education, and meaningful employment. Through this program, participants will gain the foundational tech skills they need to explore new opportunities and thrive.

We sincerely thank @TELUSFriendlyFutureFoundation for their commitment to supporting newcomer youth in our community. Together, we are helping create a more inclusive and connected Newfoundland and Labrador.
