Citizenship Week Spotlight
As we continue to celebrate Canadian Immigration and Citizenship’s Citizenship Week 2024, we would like to share another story from the ANC community, this one from a client with our Grand-Falls-Windsor satellite office.
“I’m Aravind Muthusamy, a new Canadian citizen as of February 2024. My journey to this beautiful country began in September 2018 when I moved to Grand Falls-Windsor (GFW) after spending eight years in England and seven years in Dubai.
My career in luxury hospitality has taken me to some of the most prestigious establishments in the world, including The Dorchester in London and the iconic seven-star Burj Al Arab in Dubai. These experiences, coupled with my Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wales, have given me a deep understanding of business, service, and quality dining.
Now, Central Newfoundland has become my home. My family and I run a small Indian restaurant in GFW, where we bring the flavours of authentic Indian cuisine to the local community. The success of our restaurant is largely due to my wife, Ranjani. Her experience and knowledge of Indian cooking has been instrumental, and together we strive to provide a unique dining experience that blends my background in luxury hospitality with her culinary expertise. I have seamlessly integrated my international experiences into the fabric of my new Canadian home, enriching the local culture and cuisine in Central Newfoundland.”
