Gov NL and CNA Information Session
Students at our language school recently participated in two engaging information sessions with community partners! The first was with Eleanor Mayo, Career Development Specialist with the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills (IPGS). Eleanor discussed the supports and services IPGS provides, including employment services and skills enhancement programs.
The second presentation was with the College of the North Atlantic (CNA)’s Recruitment Officer Curtis Parsons and Student Development Officer Jerry Apea. They informed the students of CNA’s many programs and procedures, such as the Comprehensive Arts & Science Transfer, requirements for Adult Basic Education and mature students, supports for international students, fees, and scholarships.
Thank you to IPGS, CNA, and our wonderful presenters for these two amazing sessions!
