HIPPY Program visits Rainbow Riders
Thank you Rainbow Riders Therapeutic Riding Centre for another wonderful day with the horses! Our HIPPY program recently had their sixth visit to their Rainbow Connections program, which allows newcomer families with preschool aged children to experience the healing power of horses and the joy of community connection.
The families had a great time playing blocks, painting pictures of horses, and even got to brush and feed the ponies!
Our Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPY) Program meets monthly, giving newcomer parents and their preschool aged children a chance to play, socialize, and practise their language skills.
