Welcoming Week Update
For Welcoming Week 2025 we’re looking back on the Mock Election we held back in April at our language schools in St. John’s, which allowed newcomers to learn about the Canadian electoral system and voting process. We set up replica polling stations overseen by volunteers and students submitted checked ballots, with the results then tallied and sent to Student Vote Canada. The results were released after the federal election and included with all participating schools across the country!
