Sponsored by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Build Your Future is a construction training program designed to support newcomers in securing employment in construction-related roles through a multi-stakeholder program model. It focuses on newcomers and particularly, refugees, who may have had previous construction experience in their home country.

Working closely with key industry partners and employers, the ANC offers the opportunity for participants to receive training relevant to needs of the construction industry. The program is 18 weeks in duration and is offered 3 times annually. Once their training is completed, clients are matched with local construction companies through paid internships.

The primary goal of the program is to create opportunities for participants to receive the training and supports required to transition them to the Canadian workforce.  Furthermore, companies are able to offer clients with the requisite skills the opportunity to pursue an apprenticeship pathway.
