Build Your Future
Sponsored by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Build Your Future is a construction training program designed to support local businesses find trained talent. The program focuses on newcomers who may have had previous construction experience in their home country and helps them secure employment in construction-related roles through a multi-stakeholder program model.
Working closely with key industry partners and employers, the ANC Employment Services offers the opportunity for participants to receive training relevant to the needs of the construction industry.
Quick Facts:
- The program is 12 weeks in duration.
- It is offered multiple times annually.
- Once their training is completed, clients are matched with local construction companies.
The primary goal of the program is to create opportunities for participants to receive the training and supports required to transition them to the Canadian workforce. Furthermore, companies are able to offer clients with the requisite skills the opportunity to pursue an apprenticeship pathway.
