Business Development Support Services

Business Development Support Services provides individual personalized coaching and guidance to newcomers in Newfoundland and Labrador who are interested in starting and running their own businesses. 

Clients are supported in building the foundational skills and knowledge required for small business ownership including: 

• Assisting in business planning and providing feedback  
• Receiving practical feedback and recommendations 
• Understanding permit and licensing requirements 
• Ensuring compliance with municipal and provincial regulations 
• Information on business financing options 
• Discussing tax responsibilities  
• Reviewing business structure 
• Providing ongoing mentorship 

The overall goal is to equip newcomer entrepreneurs with the tools, confidence, and connections to successfully establish and sustain their businesses, contributing to the economic growth and development of the community and province.
