Metrobus
Metrobus is the public bus system which operates throughout St. John’s and the City of Mount Pearl. The cash fare for one adult is $2.50 and exact change is required. M-Cards (monthly, semester or multiple ride passes) can be purchased at various locations throughout the City including the Metrobus Transit Centre at 25 Messenger Drive, downtown at St. John’s City Hall (Access St. John’s) on New Gower Street, as well as at the Avalon Mall, Kenmount Road. M-Cards may also be purchased online at the Metrobus website. All low-floor Metrobuses offer free wi-fi. The website also provides a time track feature for all routes and offers an iPhone and Android compatible mobile web app.
DRL-LR
DRL-LR provides daily motor coach service with 25 stops across the island of Newfoundland. Each day, the westbound coach departs St. John’s at 7:30 AM for Port aux Basques; the eastbound coach departs Port aux Basques at 8:00 AM en route to St. John’s. Secondary to passenger service, DRL-LR carries parcels and envelopes for customers and also provides tours and charters.
