Transportation for People with Disabilities
A non-profit organization named “Go Bus” provides a valuable transportation service for those with Physical and Developmental Disabilities.
They provide service to clients with conditions that affect their ability to get around – visually impaired, those using artificial limbs, hearing impaired, and/or those using a wheelchair.
The GoBus’ mandate is to provide persons with disabilities and those who are unable to access conventional transit, equal access to a transportation system in order to enhance their participation in all aspects of community life. The goal is to ensure that accessible, affordable transportation is provided in a dignified and respectful manner.
